Follow Me

Our trip to Honduras is getting closer and closer. In less than a month, we will be getting on a plane in order to bring light and health to a poor country. We have been meeting every Tuesday, and with each meeting, we end in prayer, bringing our requests to our mighty God. Some of our prayer requests are:

That God will continue to provide for our team and help us raise support.
That God will touch the hearts of the Hondurans we are going to meet and that He will prepare them for His Good News.
That God will prepare our hearts and break them for his Hondurans.
That God will provide the pharmaceuticals that we need to bring with us on our trip.
That God will continue to unify our team and keep us safe as we are in Honduras.
Also, praise the Lord for our new team member Andrew!

Please take the time and pray for us! Prayer is the tiny nerve that moves the big hand of God. We believe in a faithful God who provides all of our needs. Praise Jesus for his provisions! We are truly excited that we get to be God's hands and feet. As we think about this Easter weekend and all that our Savior did for us, our only hope is that we glorify him as he deserves to be glorified. The reason we breathe, exist, work, go to school is to bring God glory. The best way to do this is through obedience to Him. Jesus says in John 14:15 that if we love him, we will keep his commandments. Jesus said "go" and you don't say no to Jesus. We choose to follow Christ because he calls us to do so. He tells us to deny ourselves, pick up our crosses, and follow him. Easter reminds us of Jesus' power over death, but it also puts a spotlight on the cross. Because of the cross, because of Jesus' suffering, because of his deep, abiding, powerful, beautiful love for us, we will pick up our crosses. We will follow Jesus to Honduras. We will follow him to the ends of the earth. We will follow him, even if it means we will lose it all.
